It would seem ill-advised for a young pregnant woman to go out and do laundry at the laundromat late at night given that fact, but here we are. Is that enough for twenty bucks? A lot of people who played the game on other platforms would say so. The battles are randomly generated, and you get both a campaign mode and an endless mode. You can call in air strikes, missile attacks, and artillery. You get to assemble and upgrade your army then send them into battle to see how they fare. Kind of a simplified take on a strategy game that opts to focus on the broader picture and leave the micromanagement to other games. Can these kids find a way to stop it? The presentation and plot are the strong points here, but the puzzle design and somewhat buggy nature of the game make it a little tough to recommend. An alien is on the loose, and it seems to be hostile towards humans. Three friends end up having an unexpected encounter one night while trying to watch an adult movie on cable. This game is set during the 1980s, of course. Some people really did like Stranger Things enough to make their own point-and-click style adventure game that isn’t even trying to hide its source of inspiration. I’m a bit mixed on it, so I need to spend a bit more time with it to settle my opinion. You’ll visit a bunch of locales that will be familiar to long time fans of LEGO, and will need to help out various characters with their problems. You’ll have to solve puzzles by building solutions, brick by brick. LEGO Bricktales, if nothing else, has building. So many LEGO games out there, but so very few of them involve any actual building. Mikhail is cooking up a review for this one, so do look forward to that. You get all twelve regular tribes in this version, with three game modes, configurable map types, procedurally-generated maps, and support for up to eight players via local multiplayer. It has its sights set on Switch owners next, and something tells me it’s going to do just fine. Let’s get into it!
